Great little joint to have that 'beer after work'.

I'm giving south side 3 starts because i felt like the staff was not very warm or welcoming. I don't even think they said hello to us when we came inside. They did have some good beer on tap, but you would think that for a night as slow as it was you would be more friendly to your patrons. I don't think i will be going back, which is a shame bc i really get behind the beer scene here in Knoxville.

Ducked into Southside Garage to try out the Oakwood food truck. I ordered the Mixed Plate(choice of 2 meats and a side $18). I picked the brisket and pulled pork with coleslaw as the side. The meat was excellent I got both BBQ sauces to try...both were tasty but for me a bit too much heat (a little goes a long way). I'm told that my pallet is more sensitive than others. So if you like spicy heat you will enjoy this. The coleslaw is made with red cabbage in a mayo-vinegar combination with halopino pepper so again to...
