We have been visiting this location for sometime and usually get the burger with bacon and the veggie burger with avocado. The service was normally OK but the last two times the food has also been terrible. Today was the last straw. The burgers were cold and the sweet potato fries that used to be served in a box to stay crispy, were half the size as before and in a greasy bag. My stomach has been upset and we do not plan to return. There are too many other burger joints in Houston. Too bad because this used to be a treat for us.

If you’re looking for a solid, simple burger then this place will not disappoint. The staff is always extremely kind, and you will leave full.Overall they offer an incredible value in the Houston area. You can get a normal burger for around $7, which is getting tougher to find with all the new “craft burger” joints offering their $16 burgers.Give Southwell’s a shot, it’s solid food for a great price.
