Souvlaki Time Boca in Boca Raton

Hands-down, this could be one of the best lunches I've had in a really long time. To end off a really busy work week I was able to sneak out of my office for a quick bite. With that said, I was really pressed for time and my husband and I stopped here and I am glad that we did. We both ordered gyros with french fries, but these aren't regular french fries these are the perfect french fries. They're crunchy on the outside and like a warm mashed potato on the inside - just like I would have gotten at authentic Greek family owned diner in New York. If you did not grow up in New York that reference is hard to understand but just know that these are the perfect french fries.   I got a souvlaki chicken Gyro which I'm not sure why I don't eat more often but I am definitely sure that this was the best one I've eaten.   But let's talk about the cookies. I don't remember what they are called because there is a Greek name for them but the almond cookies with all the powdered sugar on the outside are amazing. Like life-changing, I don't even care that I worked out for an hour this morning amazing. The woman who helped with our order was so incredibly sweet and her smile was cheerful.   in a world flooded with grumpy people and masks, seeing her cheery smile was a big deal. It's been a long week and we needed that positive vibe! she overheard me talking about how good the baklava looks and how I was hesitating because I already ordered so much.   She gifted me a slice. I'm pretty sure that she knows I will be back for many more.   My new favorite lunch place!!! Love...

One of our favorite places for ordering in.  However, last night they just blew us away.  We were have  a bunch of people coming over and wanted to do something different.  We brought in two trays of skewers (comes with all the fixing to make gyros) and a Greek Salad tray.  Huge hit.  And incredibly priced.  The best part? I just had some leftovers for brunch.
