Spa Mirbeau Albany in Albany

This was my first time at this spa, and besides the facilities, I wasn't blown away like I thought I would be.I have 3 treatments done, the Organic radiance facial, French clay detox body treatment, and the Essential massage.Let's begin, upon entering the establishment it was clean and luminated, I checked in and was greeted by a very personable Marella. She welcomed me with a robe and slipper, showed me the locker rooms and tour of the amenities.I got there early to utilize the sauna (dry) my fav, however, the dry sunna was not hot. So improvising I went into the steam room, this was perfect. Great hot scented steam!I proceeded to the meditation lounge to wait for my service, while there I made some calming tea, and grabbed a chilled wash rag for my brows.My treatment began on time, first up..my French clay detox body treatment: got to the room, nice setup. I was scrubbed, wiped down, received COLD mud all over, showered, then oiled up. Went 11/17/21 , the environment is very relaxing, massage was just okay. the food was amazing, but really not much to do other than sit in a hot tub. i probably wouldn't go back.

Wasted money. This has potential to be okay but you have to do it right. I went with a friend to Spa Mirbeau Albany for facials and dermaplaning. The facials were $130 each and 50 minutes. The dermaplaning was an extra $30 and I was told on phone when I booked that it would add on 15-20 minutes to the facial. When I got to the facial they told me the dermaplaning meant I shouldn't use the spa services like steam room, sauna or hot tub. Wish I knew this ahead of time so I could have enjoyed...
