Night out with family & as usual Spanos did not disappoint, great atmosphere for whatever occasion you a celebrating. Chef Joe Spano brought out spicy calamari to try & they were absolutely delicious, very tender & not super breaded so you know you’re eating calamari & not just the filler. The linguine Nero special was so tasty, we all truly enjoyed our meals & somehow still had room for dessert. Must try the tiramisu & the Nutella bread pudding fun time as usual, delicious food & great service, no wonder Spanos keeps getting the accolades it does.

I ordered the house salad and the manicotti at Spano's Ristorante Italiano. The house salad base was mixed greens that was topped with olives, tomatoes, red onion and pepperoncini peppers and drizzled with their homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Their homemade dressing is delicious, I wish they sold it to the public. For my entree I got the homemade manicotti. The noodles are handmade and was filled with a delicious and flavorful ricotta filling. The stuffed manicotti was topped with their homemade sauce and a slice of melted homemade mozzarella. This entree is sinfully delicious and the best manicotti I have ever had. I highly recommend this entree! I also tried their melt in your mouth eggplant rollatini. Both entrees are exceptional and flavorful! This restaurant in a BYO and a liquor store is walking distance from the restaurant. The service was great and quick. *Tip: The restaurant only takes reservations with a party of 7 or more. A line starts forming outside quickly after opening at 4PM. I highly suggest if you do not have a reservation to get to the restaurant near opening time to avoid a long wait. 5/5 stars for taste, service and quality of freshly made food.
