ordered from Ubereat. One is spicy chicken cube. The meat does not have any flavor at all. And very very very oily.Won't order again

Spicy Girl is one of my favourites for delivery. Their portions are good and their prices are reasonable. I've ordered every vegetarian dish that they offer and the only one I didn't like was the General Tso's Tofu which was overly sweet. Other than that American Chinese mishap, the dishes are authentic with intense flavours and generous use of chiles and Sichuan peppercorn in the appropriate dishes. Their tomato and egg dish also feature generous use of sugar, which is not necessary. I think the amount added by the rice wine is enough. I think their standout dish is probably the black and pepper tofu which is hard fried in a bed of garlic, onion, jalapeno goodness. It could use a little more salt at times but that's what the soy sauce or salt shaker is for.

For a name like Spicy Girl, none of it was spicy. I'm quite used to asian restaurants giving me/us the whitened down version of things because they're afraid of me pitching a fit because it's too spicy. I get it, but then it's also irritating. Got the spicy cucumbers, and no spice. Got the spicy dumplings, and no spice. Got the chili beef and it had a little kick to it. and the biggest thing that irritated me about this place is they ran out of WHITE RICE. HOW ARE YOU GONNA RUN OUT OF RICE??? Yeah, they had a slew of to go orders..at least 30 or so while we were sitting and waiting on our food, so it all went to to go orders.. but damn... don't have a back up? Anyway, try it. Bring your own rice.
