S&S CHEESESTEAKS in Arlington

I live close and recently discovered this place. Loved the food. So far it has been consistent every time we go. They seem to always be busy. Depending on the day they run out of stuff like onion rings or sometimes peppers. That’s a sign of needing improved management.

Still here waiting on this camel back, bomb smuggling, food that’s so good I can’t even get my refund :)) I hope it’s the bomb at least *no pun intended* been here for about 30 minutes lol

Sometimes, I find restaurants online, sometimes I find them through friends or social media. Sometimes, you see a restaurant on the side of the road and you just feel like you need to try it. I instantly knew, when I saw it, that S&S Cheesesteaks in Arlington needed my attention.I drove up to the window and ordered the Texas Burger and a small order of the Cheesesteak Tots. The order takes a minute to come out of the other side when I pull around but it was well worth the wait.Starting with the Tots. I really like these. Crisp tots topped with cheesesteak, peppers, onions, cheese and the sauce. Not to mention that the order is huge. The small is enough to make a meal of its own.The burger was awesome. Basically, everything which came on the tots but also on a beautifully seared patty between some toasted buns. The combination of the flavors actually played really well into each other and the sandwich didn’t fall apart as you might expect.In my experience, these kinds of restaurants often have something to offer but no one gives them the time of day because they aren’t mentioned, their buildings are dilapidated, or because no one has bothered to even try them yet. There’s something to be said about just stopping by places you find in the side of the road.
