Went in to get a macchiato and a bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich. I let them know I wanted to redeem stars because they’re about to expire at the drive up menu. I then asked again if I was able to redeem my stars at the window, and the person said yes. So, they scan my card in the app, didn’t use the stars so I paid full price, and then dropped my card out the window so I had to struggle out of my car to grab it. Which was a little stressful, but the worst was when I walked in (they weren’t accepting orders inside) I asked if they were able to refund/re-ring up the order so I can use these dumb stars before I can’t. And, the person I spoke to told me there was no way for them to do that, and that there was nothing they could do in a really snarky tone. I wasn’t going to be a Karen, so I just said okay, and left. But, I worked at Starbucks just 3 years ago and I’m almost 100% they can fix the order and just didn’t care to. This location is a mess, and I get that customer service is stressful, but being blatantly rude to customers that’re just trying to respectfully, and kindly get their orders fixed is kind of unacceptable. Do better.
