Visited the store on 4/24/21, store was clean and not that busy. The reason for the 2 * is because I bought New York steaks and I asked the meat employee if the seasoning is free, and he said yes. He took my steaks and proceeded to season it before he weighed the steaks. I asked him why is he weighing the seasoning with the steaks, he said that's what he was told to do. I told him then that's not free, he said he's asked the Store Manager and Meat Manager and that is what they told him to do( shrugging shoulders). My question to Stater Bros. is, when you advertise something is free, is it really free?

Bad customer service. My cashier gave attitude and the other cashiers behind us talked behind our back thinking we don't understand (I'm Asian so they probably thought I don't understand much, but I was born here). Racism has always been a problem for me, but the workers there just made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed, never going there again :,(
