Amazing place to dine. The food was exquisite and the service was great. Came here for a long overdue fancy date night and we will most definitely be back again.

My wife and I visited steak 48 this past Friday and we had a less then stellar experience! I shared my feelings here on yelp describing the situation and our disappointment. To my surprise the General manager (Marvin) read my comments and actually came and found me and my wife down the street at another restaurant having dessert. He approached us and offered his sincerest apologies, not only did he come find us and apologize but he offered to make it right the next night. My wife and I went back Saturday and had a wonderful experience! Marvin made us feel appreciated and welcome! Not only did he earn our lifelong patronage but also a huge amount of respect for his generosity and professionalism! I hope the owners of this establishment read these yelp reviews! I've only been here twice and haven't really been too exposed to many of the menu choices, but I've always found service to be very good. On this occasion and the previous visit that made both visits so memorable were the steaks. Both times I ordered filet mignon medium rare. When I bite into them the taste and sear on the meat is beyond incredible. In my opinion Steak 48 cooks and has the best tasting steak (s). With regard to the other apps, sides, entree's you can argue many other steak houses carry the same options, other than Doris Metropolitan, But when it comes to actual cooking and taste of the meat I would say Steak 48 is my fav. and the best. The seasoning, temp., meat, etc. they've got it correct!
