Steak 'n Shake in Frankfort

Fix your hours they don’t close at 12 smh I’m here at 9:49pm and it’s closed

I know it's tough to get employees right now, so I don't want to leave a bad review, however, I visibly saw 4 employees and still waited in line for 25 minutes and there was only one other car in line ahead of me.I figured the food would be fresh waiting so long, however, that was not the case, no one could even eat the fries because they were so hard and old tasting.

Worst Steak 'n Shake I've ever been to. Dirty, service was horrible, and orders were wrong despite showing the waitress the special that they were offering on Facebook. $4 for a double cheeseburger and milkshake. Fries for $1 more. Good deal, right? Wrong. Waitress (and I use that term lightly, more like someone who wanted to get paid for doing nothing) took forever getting our shakes and never brought the water we ordered. Husband had to go stand next to the soda machine until she asked him what he wanted. Meantime,  she was standing there scratching her braided hair/scalp and messing on her phone. We get our bill and they are charging us $2.69 for each shake we got. When we showed the cashier, she said we ordered the larger size and the special was for a small shake. We told her that we didn't ask for them. We just referred to the picture on Facebook of the special and the waitress did the rest. Then the cashier said we could only have one special at the $4 price. The rest were to be full price. She took $1.98 off the bill and just stood there while we paid. Then she proceeded to tell me that the waitress has been doing this all day and that she'd have to talk to her.   It took us over an hour from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. We were in town for a volleyball tournament nearby and will tell teammates and other teams to avoid this place like the plague. Never again!
