When visiting family in Appleton, we decided to visit Stone Arch Brewpub for lunch. This is a cozy space in a historic old building right by the Fox River. There was a brewery tour going on when we arrived, which ended up in a separate taproom space from the restaurant. We made our way down to the restaurant space, and the stonework and brick reminded us of being in a French wine cellar. A relaxing and comfortable space. I started with the Cinnfull stout, which tasted like a rich cinnamon roll wrapped up in a stout beer. Really enjoyed this beer. We ordered their award winning Wisconsin cheese curds for the app. Cubes of local cheese lightly breaded and fried. Really good. For lunch, I had the Cuban sandwich.
