I stopped by Sudie's Catfish House for dinner on a Tuesday. Sudie's has a large parking lot so that shouldn't be an issue. Once you walk into this homey restaurant, there's a sit-down restaurant area on the left and a bar area on the right. We sat at a booth in the restaurant area. I'm always a fan of some Cajun cooking and Sudie's didn't disappoint. Given the name of the restaurant, I went with the lemon pepper catfish. I love lemon pepper and I prefer grilled fish so I couldn't pass it up. The meal comes with your choice of two sides. I went with the fries and mac and cheese. This is a generous portion y'all. Three fillets of catfish plus your sides means you're probably going to take some of it to-go. They also hooked us up with some complimentary hushpuppies to start which was nice. Service was friendly and you pay at the counter. All-in-all, some solid Cajun cooking!
