I met Chef Ron at World Market a few weeks ago and he told me about his restaurant. Being from Hereford, I hadn't heard of his place. Well, today we tried it. It was AWESOME!!! I had the Pit Master Mac and Cheese (can easily feed 4), my husband had the shrimp basket with red beans and rice (the batter on the shrimp is out of this world, and the red beans and rice is the best we've had). Our friend had the Shrimp Etouffee, and said it was every bit as good as what he's had in Louisiana. We'll definitely be returning again. I can't wait to try the catfish, the Gumbo, and...oh well...EVERYTHING!!! What a GREAT discovery!!!! I only have one suggestion. Can you make a half order of the Mac and Cheese?
Had the Bayou Basket today. The best shrimp and fried fish ever. Tried several other menu items on different visits. Always good!!! Very clean and friendly environment.

The Pit Master, and The Tortellini with Sausage were so good, they could make Sunday's Kitchen destination location. I can almost see myself coming to Amarillo, just for these.
