Supreme Hot Pot in Arlington

I was excited to try it and really wanted to love this new hot pot restaurant. Hot pot soup base is good, but the food is alright and doesn't worth the price compared to other good AYCE hot pot restaurants in DMV. It cost me $70 per person without drinks and I wasn't even really full...Food quality is not consistent. I got multiple orders of ribeye and half of the meet is extremely fatty just like fatty beef. Some dishes have tiny portion, such as beef tendon. I don't mind paying a premium for good hot pot, but I don't see the quality is noticeably better than some AYCE.

The food is awesome, especially the barbecue/kabob, which reminds me of those back in China. The hotpot soup base is also great. Unlike some hotpot stores whose spicy soup base are bone broth + spicy oil, the spicy soup base are seasoned very well. The beef and other meat are also very fresh. I would give a four or five for the food. But in terms of the service, my friend and I had very terrible experience. After we asked the waiter to check. My card was taken and returned with the recipe and we left. After leaving the restaurant, another one(not our waiter, probably the manager or the owner) rushed out and asked us "you guys didn't paid, right?". He did not asked us "Did you guys forget to pay?", nor tried getting us back with an excuse like "we have a problem in processing your payment and could you come back please?", but assuming that we fled without paying.  His tone was very rude and disrespectful, as if he was interrogating us. My friend and I were offended and surprised because the waiter did took our card and returned it. We said we definitely paid and if there's any problem we would try another card and finish the payment. But we followed him back in. It turned out that they forgot to pay it with my card. And the recipe we saw when they returned my card was not the recipe of payment but the order list with price and tax. We finalized the payment and the guy who stopped us was being rude in his tone throughout this, with no single word of apology. I cannot believe I still tipped 20% after going thr...

I was craving for hot pot and skewers--Supreme Hot Pot is fantastic!  They offer tasty fish noodle, fresh and high quality meats and flavorful hot pot soup.  Highly recommend and definitely will come back
