I had an unfortunate experience the last time I went. I used to love Sushi Hana, but this experience has made me not want to eat there again.I ordered the mermaid roll, and it came with half cooked carrot sticks inside, and the driest, crunchiest smoked salmon inside. There was not one piece of fish. I could not get through the roll, I had to stop eating it. It was awful.I had also ordered a nigri hamachi roll, and it arrived on the grayish side, and tasted like it had been spritzed with lemon.The waitress was amazing, she was swamped (it was pretty busy) and working alone, yet she kept a smile on her face, greeted every customer, and kept checking on us.The service was great, my sushi was not. I am hoping it was just a bad day for the chef, because hana has always been a great place to eat.
