I’ve tried several fancy sushi restaurants in Seattle and this is by far the best!! Really recommend to sit at the sushi counter; I like to come here on Saturday noon and get omakase with Chef Fuji. Each nigiri piece is fresh with just the right amount of rice. Chef Fuji made us bluefin tuna and uni nigiris which are my personal favorite. The whole meal is just absolutely worth it and the chef himself is funny to talk with during the meal:) 10/10 recommend!

Hands down some of the best sushi I have had in my life! The fish is so incredibly fresh, the rolls are innovative (try creamy salmon!) And unlike other upscale places, you won’t pay $23 for a roll. Don’t miss tuna trio and uni We were in Seattle for 2 nights and we came to Katsu-ya for both dinners! It’s been a week but I keep thinking about that sushi! Thank you team Katsu-ya

For some of the best sushi in Seattle, check out Sushi Katsu-ya. We found this place by accident and are glad we did.There service is some of the best I have seen in a long time. There is a massive attention to detail and the food was out of this world. It is also very authentic.The other thing here is the staff is incredible. Everyone from the servers to the chief and everyone in between knows their stuff and is incredibly good to their customers.
