We ordered at 6:45 with an expected less than 1hr delivery of two items: tamago sushi and edamame. The order arrived at 8:05, still warm, suggesting the holdup was at the restaurant. The tamago was terrible--picture attached. No layers. Tasted unseasoned. We've had tamago many times-one of our favorites-and this is the first time we have found it largely inedible.

OK, we have a problem at Sushi Valley, and it depends on what you order. On Wednesday night, I ordered the 49er Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. The 49er Roll was excellent and delicious. The roll was loaded with crab meat. The salmon melted in my mouth. And the lemon added a different tart flavor. However, the Spicy Tuna Roll had a weird "off flavor." It was enough to ruin my appetite and throw it away. Sushi is the type of food where the customer must trust the way it's prepared. Once you lose that trust, you lose the business.
