Absolute best sushi we've found since being in Alaska, and we've tried several places. We also tried the sesame chicken and it was incredible!The restaurant was clean, service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be returning!

We use to love Sushi Ya, but over the last couple of years it has slowly started to decline. The place gets nicer in appearance, while the food and service steadily go down. I go out to eat for good food, not pretty decorations. Most restaurants are suffering now due to Covid-19 and the world wide shortage of employees...Sushi Ya has taken this burden and inflicted its frustrations directly onto their faithful customers. Let me explain...all sushi rolls (which by the way average between $15-$22 per roll) use to include a free small salad (like 1/2 iceberg lettuce and some dressing), a small cup of miso soup (about 1 cup serving), and a tiny dish of cold noodles.
