Such a charming, homey tea room. Thoroughly enjoyed the wild cherry amaretto tea, it was deliciously fragrant. Tried 4 different scones- blueberry lemon, vanilla almond, cranberry orange, and honey pecan and all tasted fresh with the perfect texture. The fruity scones paired perfectly with the lemon curd

We checked out Sweet Afton for a belated Galentine's Day outing. Overall, we had a great time! A LOT of their menu looked delicious, so it was difficult to choose. I got the Vanilla Honey Bush tea, which was great- everyone liked the tea they had chosen. Two of us did the Afton High Tea, and the other got the Ploughman's Platter. I enjoyed all of my food, although for this I greatly prefer TeaHaus in Ann Arbor- you get basically the same food for way cheaper, and it's tastier. The food here was good, but not phenomenal like it is at TeaHaus. I did love their seasonal sandwich, but the chicken salad was dry and I wish there were more spreads that came with the scone without charging extra. All in all, we had a great time, but with TeaHaus not much further away, I don't think we'll be returning. If this location works better for you than Ann Arbor though, you'll definitely have an enjoyable time here.
