Swirls and Twirls in Massapequa Park

The service was unbelievably terrible. The worker refused to put toppings on a 11 year old girls ice cream and made her pay extra for it on the side. A worker yelled and was mean to young girls for talking about moving tables to each other. She said they couldn't move the tables inside so they went outside and moved the tables because they didn't realize it wasn't ok. She came outside and yelled at them instead of kindly asking. The young girls don't understand the COVID rules or guidelines because they are 12-13. The girls nicely agreed to move the tables after the worker screamed at them. This was the worst experience I ever had going to this store, one of the workers was extremely rude to my friends and I and other customers and did not help us or explain to us what she was yelling at us about. We tried to sit together inside and she started yelling at us. She refused to put toppings on one of my friends fro yo. My friends tried to sit together outside and she screamed at them too. I love coming here for froyo, especially during the summer. The shop is conveniently located by my house and in a popular shopping center with a lot of my favorite stores. My favorite part of Swirls and Twirls is the extensive variety of toppings available, from fresh fruit to nuts/candies, there's a lot to choose from. I also like the flat fee option which usually works out better than paying by weight. The prices here are similar to the ones at other froyo shops so expect no surprises there. If you're in the mood for something sweet and low in cals, I highly recommend visiting Swirls and Twirls!
