Very good food, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our dinner there and will definitely be returning asap.

My husband has been wanting a good walleye dinner Me not so much, not a seafood eater. Since he is on vacation this week I googled best places in PA for walley. We are from Ohio. Syd’s was at the top of the list. So we drove 2 hrs for dinner. The hostess Faith greeted us with a big smile. I told her where we were from and that it was our first time there. We were pleasantly surprised she has been to our hometown before. She took us to our table. She was very pleasant. Then our server Beth came, answered a few questions and got our drinks. We ordered an appetizer, mozzarella sticks very good. We then ordered dinner husband of course got the walleye, baked Potato (huge) and a cup of clam chowder. He said it was ALL very good. I ordered a steak, baked potato (huge) and salad. Delicious!!! It was all well worth the 2 hr drive. And the prices were good for the amount of food you get. We Highly recommend this place. Beth and Faith we hope to see you again.

Such a lovely home-style seafood restaurant in Erie! Good place to grab a big meal if you are visiting Erie. It had a large menu to choose from, both seafood and non seafood. Service is nice especially when the whole industry is understaffed after COVID. The fisherman's platter and the walleye special we ordered were nicely cooked and delicious. Also, the clam chowder was loaded with clam meat. Portion size is big! You won't leave hungry from Syd's place.
