The Mapo Tofu was excellent. I ordered it extra spicy would definitely order it again(am currently thinking about ordering it right now). The other items in my order were ok. Veggie Chow mein is what I thought it was. Wife didn’t like the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Lemon Chicken was heavily coated with batter. The Fried Wontons were very good, nice bit of pork and fried to perfection. 4 star for how delicious the mapo tofu was and for being open on xmas.

Good: - lamb fried rice is special, wish there's more of the nice tender lamb meat. Though MB more fragrant. *THEY ARE NOT CLOSED AND THEY STILL SERVE SZECHUAN FOOD* I pulled up the other day and thought they had closed because there is a sign for an Indian restaurant where their sign used to be. Turns out they still have everything they've always had (minus beef + pork) AND now serve Indian food. I ordered my regular stuff (salt pepper shrimp, green beans, garlic eggplant) plus we had garlic naan, paneer tikka masala, and the most delicious masala chai. This place is and always has been the best szechuan restaurant. Very fun and exciting that they also sell delicious Indian food now as well. The staff is so nice and helpful. If you don't like this restaurant, that says more about you than it does about Szechuan Place.
