We decided to stop here because of the good reviews in Yelp.  I ordered the Fried Chicken  taco  and the Chile Rellenó pepper  taco both of which were unique and delicious.  The tacos were nothing like I've ever had before (in a good way).  My wife had the Crunchy Spicy Shrimp  and the Ribeye Steak  taco  .  Our son ordered Roasted Mushroom Cheese  Enchiladas.  This is definitely a great place for a quick stop with a different twist on traditional Mexican food.  The food is definitely delicious and recommended.  ...

Popped in to taco + pina since I needed to go to Shirlington to pick something up. I've eaten takeout from them before and found it tasty but since I was eating in I decided to get the shredded beef nachos for the first time. Overall a solid dish but there are a few things that cause me to ding it a little. First the shredded beef had a flavor equivalent to roast beef. It was good but I was expecting a little deeper flavor profile. The beef itself was cooked well and was not chewy, which is definitely a plus. Great food, above and beyond service. Grubhub messed up and was unable to get a driver to pick up my order from Taco and Pina for well over an hour after the order was placed. The generous team at Taco and Pina contacted me about the issue, kept my food warm the entire time, and stayed AFTER closing to ensure my order was fulfilled and that I had a positive experience despite the delivery issue that was entirely out of their control. Thank you to Chef Graham and co. for the excellent food and service!
