Taco De Oro in Cypress

This place is AMAZING!! I'm upset I didn't know about it sooner. Everything is made FRESH when you order it! Everything is HOMEMADE! So, their food is delicious. Especially their homemade tortillas! I had to hold in my emotions while eating because it was just that good!I also had some horchata and that is homemade as well. Man! It was so smooth and full of flavor. I had to force myself to take my time to eat and drink because I didn't want it to be over. And their homemade fresh salsa!! I got the mild salsa and it complemented by breakfast tacos perfectly!Last but not least, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was at a family member's house. We talked like we've known each other for a long time and we just met today. It was such a great experience all around.IF you are in a hurry and want their food, CALL AHEAD. Their food is made FRESH when you order it!! It is worth every penny! If you ain't got time to chill for a moment, look at their online menu and just call it in. You won't be disappointed coming here!I didn't get a photo cause it was too good that I forgot all about that.

I have been looking for REAL Mexican food, I'm new to Houston(sucks) TEXMEX is CRAP. I can't ever find good tacos, in Houston Honduran people sell tacos here for crying out loud. I ran into taco de Oro, I called ahead the gal was very friendly, Tacos are like I had in L.A. and Tijuana, food was great. Very VERY good. It's what I was praying for. Wife liked it too. Very yummy. And it's not TEXMEX.
