Taco Sal lived up to the hype of being an Albuquerque NM landmark and outstanding tacos.

Today was my first time eating at Taco Sal, but I will be returning! I ordered the beef soft tacos to go, and my order was ready within just a few minutes. The meat was seasoned deliciously and the salsa that came with it brightened the flavor of the beef and provided a pleasing balance of rich and fresh flavors. The corn tortillas topped with melted cheese held together well and tasted fresh. Taco Sal also gave me a complimentary sopapilla with honey, which I did not expect but greatly appreciated. My entire meal was under $8 after tax and before tip, a price that is hard to compete with. The atmosphere was excellent; the restaurant was quiet and brightly decorated with lots of natural light. If you're looking for an authentic hole-in-the-wall New Mexican eatery with chill vibes and cute decor, I would recommend Taco Sal!
