Delicious. As a Californian, I'm very happy to see good quality Mexican food farther north. My typical order is three house tacos and one baby burrito. It's the perfect amount of food for me when I'm hungry.

There's something about being from LA that makes folks want to take you to their favorite taco shop if you're visiting from outside of LA. It's almost like folks need or want the validation lol. I hope my buddy who brought me here and lives up the street from this spot doesn't see this review! Well this spot has really good tacos and quesadillas. I tried chicken (pollo) and beef (asada) and I really enjoyed both. I'd say they're authentic enough and three should be good to fill you up. Quesadilla and a taco did the trick for me. One thing I didn't like about this spot was I asked for a side of salsa, may've been extra salsa.... Well they charged me 25 cents for it. I just kind of felt nickel and dined... or in this case two dimes and a nickel... or three nickels and a dime... ok I'm done. If you do eat here, I'd get my order to go and eat outside in the little plaza/courtyard this spot is located in. When I was there, there was live music and a sense. Of community with social distancing observed!

Highlights: - Simple menu full of simple foods that are hella tasty - Really it's the same thing(ish) restructured a few ways with different meats - Incredibly quick (5 minutes from time of placing an online order) Firstly, shoutout to Megha A. for the recommendation! Tacos Chukis has very quickly become my destination for tacos. Their specialty, the tacos chukis, is probably the best item on their menu, sporting pork with onions, cheese, cilantro, some green sauce (a salsa'd guacamole I presume) and a small slice of pineapple. All in all, surprisingly filling, very tasty few bites per taco. Tacos Chukis is one of those places that does just a few things, but does them really, really, well. Their speed of service is also incredibly quick so make sure you order when you're already on the well so the food is hot and fresh!
