Tacos Del Julio in Houston

It was amazing. My family and I are from Monterrey where gringas are famous around. Came to Texas to visit and saw they sold gringas and we have it a chance and I do not regret the decision it was AMAZING and taste just like back home. The salsa verde Amazing.

This is my favorite place to eat tacos! Their steak tacos are SO BOMB, plus el queso fresco y avocado. I love the traditional, Taco Tuesday, yet I can eat these tacos everyday of the week (pollo y bistec ). I would typically order through UberEats until I recently learned the restaurant is literally a few minutes away from my home, on a bus ride. I remember taking the bus there, ordered, and making it back home safely to enjoy. I noticed they forgot my queso fresco, so I called the restaurant to notify the server. This past Tuesday I decided to get tacos at the restaurant and noticed I forgot my receipt to again notify and show the server that I had an item missing last time. By the time I was getting my order, the server from the previous visit recognized me and remembered I called in about the missing queso fresco. Terrible customer service, no margaritas, and super expensive compared to other Tacos Del Julio. This is in a low income area and prices here are way overpriced for low quality food. Food was not hot and for some reason even the canned Dr. Pepper was flat when I opened it. The waiter took forever to asked if we needed anything (which I did).
