Terrible server, don’t even know her name. Not once did she come check up on us and she had a poor attitude while taking our order. Did not bring complimentary chips and when I asked for some she gave me a stink face. Like Bruh. Food was okay

Nice, chill place to have tacos. The tacos are fairly affordable, they have a good variety of taco meats and food. The red salsa is really good. Tacos tasted fresh and were full of meat. Definitely recommend.

Tacos El Jaibo is tucked in the corner of a typically eclectic Houston strip center, adjacent to a store selling religious items devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe and just down the row from a shop selling guitars exclusively for left-handed people. I stopped by not long before closing, and most patrons were just relaxing inside, watching a soccer match on the many flat-screen TVs and playing cards. It was a fun, relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a birria torta and two cactus tacos, one on a flour tortilla and the other on corn. Given that there didn't seem to be many - any - others waiting for food, it did take a bit longer than I might have expected. Also, I'm pretty sure that I was not billed just $1 per taco, which is their deal on Wednesdays (though perhaps that's just for lunch, or maybe it doesn't apply to cactus tacos).
