We had reservations at 7 pm and our son showed up 15 minutes early and sat at the bar and received no service. We then were seated and we ordered drinks, appetizers, dinner and wine. As soon as they brought the appetizers we received our entrees. My wife's dinner was brought to us at the end of our dinner. The food was sub par and the fries were cold. Knowing who the owner is this was very disappointing.

Very nice atmosphere but the food is not good. I ordered fish and chips for lunch. The fish had zero flavor and was basically inedible. The coleslaw consisted of about 2 tablespoons. For an $18 lunch there are far better places to go. Our server was obviously very new and we can understand that and was happy to have someone serve us due to staffing. It's very unfortunate that the food was so bad.

Taffet's Tavern was awesome! We started with onion rings, wings and spinach artichoke dip. Everything was fantastic. Moving on to the entrees, the chili dog and roast beef au jus was great. But the piece de resistance was the old fashioned. It comes out in a decanter on top of a glass filled with smoke. The decanter also has smoke. It was very cool. Our server, Lisa, was great. I highly recommend Taffer's Tavern.
