How is it that Arlington, WA continues to have some of the very best restaurants in the whole country? I have eaten Indian Food all over the United States and not only is the price right, but the food is succulent, rich, and delicious. You can taste the love in the food. The area is rustic and well loved. We got the Traditional Chicken Curry, Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, Rita, and Kheer for dessert. We will not only be back, this is going to become a staple when we are North of Seattle.

Housed in the old O'Brien Turkey House, Taj Grill N' Spice Indian Cuisine is a welcome culinary improvement over it's predecessor. Turkey gravy just doesn't compare to the comprehensive list of curries offered in this tantalizing Indian restaurant. I've enjoyed the traditional brown curry with lamb, the vegetable curry, and the Aloo Mutter (potatoes and peas in an onion curry). We ordered these with a spicing level of #2 and they were consistently mild yet tasty. All of these entrees are prepared gluten free.Indian food (like Mexican food) offers plenty of gluten free options. One exception would be the made to order Tandoori baked Naan bread. It looks and smells delicious but I can't eat it. My partner loves the plain naan and always orders it. I plan to order the Roti bread the next time I go. It is also made to order and can be prepared gluten free. While eating some fresh baked naan bread would be wonderful, I can take solice in the utterly delicious Pakoras (Chickpea flour & fenugreek battered fried fritters served with cilantro Mint & tamarind chutney). That's right, Gluten Free Batter Fried Fritters! These are sinfully delicious and I order them every time I go to this Indian restaurant or any Indian restaurant for that matter (Curries in South Everett also offers delicious Pakoras).I routinely order the Tandoori Chicken (On the bone). Moist and delicious with custom spice level (Level two works for us). This tandoori cooked fowl is bet...
