Tako Ten in Albuquerque

Not my favorite tacos. Service was friendly, just not a huge fan of the food.

Once again I was disappointed by the Al Pastor tacos out here. So the wife and I decided to try this place. We walk in nice looking place with Día de los Muertos theme. Ok so far so good. Ordered the 2 Al Pastor tacos and a fish taco. Fish taco was good but yet again got disappointed with the Al Pastor just because you add pineapple to the meat doesn't make it Al Pastor. I'm originally from Cali where we have authentic Al Pastor and it's hard to find out here because of the adobada meat you guys have, anyway. Nice looking place good fish tacos and fried chicken tacos but if you're looking for Al Pastor, keep looking.

I'm just going to come out and say it- I've been living under a freaking rock. I couldn't shut up about Dia De Los Takos for the longest time and how I missed their killer tacos. I had no freaking idea until we decided to check out the menu here that the amazing Chef Dominic moved to the awesome little shops (Bridges) at Tramway and Candelaria right next to Boxing Bear. Seriously, I'm a moron. I had seen the food truck, I had seen the place when grabbing beers with friends but never put two and two together until this week and I dragged my friends there because DUH YOU HAVE TO HAVE THESE TAKOS AND I WON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. I also had to redeem myself from choosing somewhere else a while back that they weren't too thrilled about so thanks for the assist, Tako Ten! The space is markedly different than the old days of the go cart arena and I'm soooo digging it...
