Went here for the 1st time a few days ago. Everything was going good until I got served the worst cut salmon nigiri I have ever had. I ordered one piece to make sure it was good before ordering more. The 1st piece was perfect so I ordered 2 more. The next 2 were cut WITH the grain instead of against it which makes it chewy. I have never been served salmon nigiri like this before. I told the waitress and she took the piece I had left back to the chef and she came back with it and said the chef told her he always cuts it like that. No one offered to take it off the bill or remake it for me. The sushi chef needs to go back to Sushi 101! I will attach a photo

Went to Tamashi specifically because they have TV screens  playing sports and we were craving sushi so it's the perfect spot. We asked them to change the screen to a different sports game 4 times. Finally they were about to change it and then they came up to us and said they were too busy to change it. I understand they are busy and but this is a quick and simple request. On top of this we had no idea who our server was. We basically got ignored until the end of our visit. We have come before where they've forgotten about us and they knew it because they comped part of our meal without us asking. This is usually one of my favorite spots because the sushi is normally great but this experience has happened more than once now. The sushi was also not as good as it usually is. It seems like during prime dinner hours they need to figure out a better system with taking care of individuals dining in vs. to go orders. They seem overwhelmed with a full dining room and what seems like dozens of to go orders causing them to not pay attention to their customers dining in.
