Incredible vegetarian meal!!! The vegan sambusa and vegetarian special were absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic as well.

Ethiopian food is an acquired taste. Very dissimilar to European food even middle eastern food. I was goo-goo gaga for the chicken with hard boiled egg in a tomato based sauce! The green bean coffee is a real treat.

First time I ever had Ethiopian food was in Little Ethiopia in LA. The injera turned me off to ever trying Ethiopian food again. Until Tana. Came here on whim because of all the great reviews and wanting to give it another shot. We ordered the meat and veggie combo. From the first bite, I looked up at my girlfriend and mouthed "WOW." Their injera made me do a complete 180 from my first experience. It has the perfect amount of tanginess balanced with a springy texture. From their yellow split peas to their doro wat - everything was *chef's kiss*. Man - it felt like I was eating at someone's mom's house. This food fed my soul. Can't wait to come back.
