I travel all over LA, and I'm always looking for a great burrito. Places like Taqueria Escalante are everywhere, of course, and they are never bad. Basically they range from OK to better than OK :) What makes for greatness (for me) is the carne asada and the refried beans. Here they were just right. Real taste in the carne asada and a smooth but not drippy texture for the beans. Together in a burrito: excellent. If I lived around here, this would become one of my goto spots.
