We first visited this place on the weekend of July 16th of last year. Great food and drinks, so we decided to visit today on our way back home. My partner ordered the shrimp pesto and when it arrived she promptly sent it back because of the taste and the temperature. I alerted the waitress that later told us she was the "manager" and let her know we didn't want it but wanted to order something else. She said she could not take the item off the ticket even though we didn't really eat it or didn't want it. It went down hill when she stated she was the manager but wasn't acting like a manager. Then had the audacity to tell me she recognized me from "the other day" and something happened with my food. I said first of all you don't recognize me because I live 3 hours away. The next thing is you are being stereotypical, and that doesn't fly well with me. The actual owner will be getting a call next week. The service and disrespect was horrible!!!

My husband and I are Houston natives, but we transplanted to Kerrville to be closer to family that retired here. When we first arrived, we went on a search for the best Mexican food in town. After months of searching, we landed at Taqueria Jalisco. Before the pandemic, we ate here weekly, and were greeted with warm smiles and shown to a usual table. During the pandemic, we have enjoyed to go food with a very convenient drive-thru lane. No matter the occasion, Taqueria Jalisco is perfect for all of your Mexican food needs in the hill country!
