"Taco trucks" are a dime a dozen here in Houston, but everyone has their favorite am I right? I live no where close to this area but I may have to take a quick drive just to indulge in these tender morsels. I ordered El Pastor (pork) and Barbacoa (shredded beef) tacos with the fixings (pico, cilantro, lime juice). The meat was so juicy and flavorful and the order came up super quick, I Only waited about 3 minutes. They normally come on a corn tortilla but there were an option for flour with an extra cost. I love when food is just good food sometimes. When your hungry and want to be satisfied you don't need all the glitter and lights, just well seasoned and succulent food to suppress your hunger monster inside. This is such a place that delivers all you need and more. They had other items like quesadillas, burritos, frito pies, etc, but I would definitely recommend the tacos!!!

Disgusting. Hair all in the food and in the lines. The cook wasn't wearing a hair net. No gloves very unsanitary place. Wouldn't recommend

I had the drunk munchies one night while I was partying on Washington Street and my eyes lit up when I saw a food truck open late night. Parked close to Clutch Bar, Concrete Cowboy, and Kung Fu, Taqueria Maya Quiche serves authentic tacos at a reasonable price. That means your tacos are served on corn tortillas and you're only paying $2-$3 a pop (I can't remember which one it was). I ended up getting one barbacoa taco and one taco al pastor. I specifically asked for no onions, the cashier repeated my request, and then I received tacos with onions. It was a simple request so I have to notch them down a bit for this. The tacos aren't huge but still decent and good value for the price.
