The tastes delight me.  Fresh and full of spice and herbs.   The ladies that operate this small establishment kindly chatted with me and explained the daily-made menu.   I watched as sweets were prepped for baking.   I enjoyed the appetizers ox chicken and crisp veggies.  The crust was flaky and sprinkled with encrusted seasonings. Yes, don't miss this hidden gem.

If you have any connection to Russia, Central Asia or Eastern Europe, Taste of Eurasia is your stop for staples. Tucked away in a tiny brick building near Potomac Yards, their menu is diverse. They sell sambusa (pies filled with beef, chicken, veggies, etc), honey cake, khachapuri, etc.I stopped in for lunch on a Friday around 11:30am and they were almost out of sambusa. I ordered three different kinds and the beef was the most flavorful. The honey cake is a bit dry, but delicious. If you want a khachapuri, call ahead. They don't sell it for walk-ins.
