After a whole hectic week, we went to this restaurant to have some good lunch. We ordered Pav bhaji, the bhaji of which tasted more like some mashed tomato onion paste with burnt smell. We ate half of it thinking whole time what exactly the taste of it is all about. We also ordered bhindi masala as a to-go order for which I had been craving for very long. I tossed whole of it in trash as soon as I just tasted it, that pathetic it was. Thanks Tava Fry for ruining our weekend.

Staff is friendly. Went in for dinner. Pani puri was ok. Shami burger was good. Didn't like the bhuna lamb and katakat. Were really oily and cardamom overloaded. They price was a bit high for them and the boiled rice that they were served with them seemed like they were not fresh. Masala fries were good. Mango lassi and chai were ok. We didn't get a couple of things that we ordered so I had to go back and ask for them. Would have been good if they gave us a receipt print out. Place was nice and clean. It was easy to get the left overs for take out as to go boxes were on the side already with plastic bags to do it yourself. Clay pot cheese tikka masala Pizza was good. If you got anything spicy it is going to be really really spicy even if you are South Asian so be careful.

Caveat : i love tava fry and will go back. Someday. But tonight's experience was less than okay. The goat bhuna (type of curry) that's quite expensive at $17, was 3/4 bones. The rasmalai cake had a dark coarse hair on it. Probably from a male. Super gross. $6. Now, I don't mind paying $17 for good food. But don't give me mostly bones :(. I had people to feed. So I had to make something at home. Which I was hoping to avoid. TLDR Cons : hair on cake. Goat bhuna mostly bones. Adding pics for both. Pros: samosa chaat. Mughlai chicken curry. I'm going to take a break from eating out. Whomp whomp.
