Ordered a Teriyaki/General Tso's Combo for take-out. The Teriyaki chicken was really dry, almost inedible. The rest of the food was decent enough. I'll try again in a few months, hoping that this was just a fluke. Part of me thinks this was yesterday's chicken, but I don't want to believe that.

Back in my college youth I hung out on Cap Hill a lot, and I'm pretty sure Teriyaki & Wok was around then as well.  Located in a classic building in the heart of Broadway, and offering one of the few private parking lots of any restaurant along the strip, this place was bustling on my recent Thursday evening visit and I can see why.  They offer a great array of everything from teriyaki to a number of noodle dishes.  They seem to do a huge takeout business, and the masterful lady at the front counter runs the place well.  Orders are taken, paid for, and ready within minutes.  I got a chicken teriyaki bowl and a miso soup - the total was less than $10 and was a great meal on a busy night.  The teriyaki sauce was rich and complex, and the chicken was tender and delicious.  And oh, that miso soup tasted good in the cold January weather.  Next time if I'm hungrier I might try their huge combo which features multiple types of teriyaki, several sides, and a drink for around $14.  But I might need a friend to share it with me!
