Disappointed and angry. I am in town on business and decided to visit what is considered an icon in the craft brewing industry. I checked their hours on their website, looked at the beer selection and the minute I was able to leave, headed out to Terrapin Beer. Upon arriving I learned that there was a concert event and the brewery was closed for it to the public unless you brought a ticket (expensive) to the concert. As I was there to try the beer, not see a concert, and the line was very long, this was not an option. Not to mention that I would not be able to actually go inside as that area was reserved for VIPs. I went back and checked the website - did I miss something. The notice that the brewery was closed was under FAQs about the concert. About 4 levels deep. As I had no interest in their "special events" I did not even look at the event list. I ended up wasting over $30 in car share rides to go to a place, where I could not get in, because they did not bother to put on their website, in a place where it would be seen by someone who was interested in their beers, that they were closed for this event. Horrible horrible experience. Horrible attention to detail. Horrible attention to the customer. And one that has now soured me on their beers.

Picked up a case of beer, easy call ahead ordering and friendly curbside pickup. The beer is awesome, that should already be common knowledge to you if you're making a visit.
