Thai Taste is the most affordable and delectable Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Operating on a shoe string with a scant, post-COVID lunch crowd, they nevertheless serve up consistently excellent dishes. The Pop Chicken is our favorite: beautiful, delicious, and generously proportioned. I've even tried their "five alarm" Spice Needle dish. Surprisingly enjoyable if eaten slowly.

Thai Taste Restaurant was a great quick lunch with perfect portions. I was in Seattle for a conference held at the Marriott Courtyard in Pioneer Square, and this place is right across the street.  I would say this place is unexpectedly good.  Service is not the greatest, probably since there are two people to operate taking orders, delivering food, and cashing out customers.   Since it is a busy area, the restaurant fills up quickly, and several people come in for a to-go order.  There is a great lunch menu that offers Pad Thai, Rice, a Fresh Roll, a Salad, Soup, and a protein option.  Food came out quickly and was really delicious.  Everything is slightly Americanized (aka it is American spicy, and the fresh roll is fried). I would say the disappointing parts of this place was it seemed slightly dingy and the the fresh roll was fried.  However, service was fast, and all the parts that others may find negative, I think are relatively normal for a place like this. For a great, yummy lunch that has so much flavor, this is a place to go.  I was not disappointed with what I saw for the other dishes, and they were not shy with the ginger or garlic. 5 stars for meeting the taste buds, coming through during the lunch rush, having a great menu, and this easily overcomes the other areas.  A hole in the wall delight.
