The low lighting they had hid the fact that they offer their chicken medium rare. The taste was hidden by the other sides on the plate.

For the price and expectation of a special evening out, The Annie was a serious disappointment. We brought my parents here as a Christmas gift, along with our two children, so we had made an early reservation. We were surprised at how unbearably loud the restaurant was, even for 6pm, to the point that my mother with hearing aids was uncomfortable, and none of us could have a conversation. The service was incredibly slow, with drinks consistently taking 20-30 minutes to arrive after ordering throughout the meal; my dad got his glass of wine that he ordered with his food as he was finishing his plate. We had to flag down wait staff to ask to order drink refills and our entrees (our starters were brought first, before cocktails arrived of course, while we still had enormous menus on our laps and had to put them on the floor). The food for the most part was excellent, except for the scallops, which were over cooked and rubbery. But the service and overall environment were really unacceptable for a $600 meal.

I made a reservation for the patio for 4:15.  Prior to my reservation I sat at the bar inside.  I watched the manager get paid off by someone on the patio.  At 4:15, I walked over to the Hostess table where the manager informed me he could not honor my reservation, and offered me a spot inside.  This is completely unacceptable.  I will be sure to no longer host corporate happy hour events at your establishment. Congratulations!
