Great service, great food. Several unique dishes with artichoke incorporated, befitting the name. The service was top notch, we probably ordered 3/4 of the menu between everything we tried and everything was delicious. Definitely on the list of great food in ABQ!

At the end of September I was excited to secure Christmas Eve reservations at The Artichoke Cafe. We were seated right next to door with a piece of fabric separating us from everyone gathering their coats to leave, and we backed into the hostess and drink stand. Our son’s Sprite had no syrup, when we asked for a replacement the waitress said “well it’s Sprite, I’ll bring a can.” Then she arrived with a can of Sprite which was flat. My husband ordered the 6oz filet and my son ordered the 12 oz filet - when our meals came out both of their steaks were the same size. We asked (because the 12 oz is $70) but she insisted that one was 6 oz and one was 12 oz. To make matters worse my son overheard the servers when they arrived with the plates ask why they were both 6oz sized and our waitress said “Just serve them.” Then there were lots of small things - like they charge for bread which is ridiculous, especially given that there is nothing special about the bread. We were all laughing because the whole meal was a comedy of errors - Albeit a $300 comedy.
