So first off let me say this place was a bit hard to find because they don't have any front signage. We over looked it and walked around the block. I called and the host/waiter directed us there. Funny thing was we made reservations for 5:45 and I had given him my name but couldn't find it. Almost had to sit outside! Luckily the host pointed out and asked if I was koool beans...lol that I am. That I am. We only ordered two things but that was more than enough for our main entree. The octopus was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The tomahawk ribeye steak was damn near excellent. I wish it was a bit more juicier. For some reason as tasty as it was it didn't have the juices of a steak I crave. Still very good. Much better than that lame pretentious Ascend Prime in Bellevue... yeah read my review there. What I was delighted about was our tomahawk steak was precut as it should be when serving. Ok now the not so good. Hmmm the potatoes although good was too much and so if your steak and potatoes guy which I am this is your jam. However the potatoes didn't absorb enough of the herby flavors as it should and were...

It's pricey so would save for special occasions but it's rare that I've been somewhere where literally everything is delicious. Favorites are: the salmon, brussels, and artisan gem salad! Drinks are great too

This was our first visit to The Ballard Cut, and we will definitely be back again! Servers were lovely, ambiance was on point. Drinks were phenomenal, appetizers exceeded our expectations, and the entrees were fabulous. We went with the grilled octopus and fried cauliflower for apps, and crab carbonara and tagliatelle pesto for the meals. This place is a true gem in Ballard and stands along with the other top places on Ballard Ave for sure.
