So, I'll start with saying I currently live in Utah. So you can guess how great the bourbon selection is here....I was in Seattle for a couple days and stopped in. First off, their whiskey selection is impressive. I splurged and tried WLW, and honestly their prices were very reasonable. The food was great as well. The bartender was Luke, and he was extremely friendly and had some great recommendations. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

Great selection of whisky, but the food is delicious too. Try the truffle popcorn for a snack and any entree for a meal. We haven't been disappointed yet.

Look, I'm biased, because by riding the coattails of a regular or two I know, I sort of became a regular-by-proxy, which means I am contractually obligated to love the spot if I ever want to buy delicious ex-bourbon-barrel-aged rum there again - which I do. But that said, my intense positive feelings towards it are authentic; I wouldn't have tagged along and met my friends there so many times if it wasn't a great experience. At bottom, The Barrel Thief is a great place, full of great people, who give great recommendations, with great drinks, and great food, and the bottle shop has some truly great stuff. What more do you need?
