Absolutely horrific. I asked to get a grill cheese for carry out to take to my Type 1 diabetic husband who was in the room. I was denied that option because I didn't hold a top 3 players card. Shame on you Viejas!! I talked to hotel and management all were unfazed and could careless. I know what casino I won't be back too and I'll tell everyone I know!

Explain to me how Viejas has the soda machines open (where people can touch everything), don't check temperatures anymore, but won't let you do to go orders unless you are gold status and higher? This place doesn't care about your safety only about the money you enter in their machines. With that said, I've had the food here before and it's very lackluster with no flavor. For example, the artichoke dip we had at one point tasted like it was frozen and they just tossed it in an oven to reheat it, pita chips were also super oily for whatever reason. Stayed at the hotel, no complaints nice and clean. When we went down to eat at the Cafe we expected better service, and we are very disappointed. Definitely DO NOT recommend. I had the Chef special Steak and Crab Legs, in which my food was served cold. I had to ask the waiter to heat my food in the microwave. The waiter never asked if we need more drinks, napkins, etc.... We had to catch his attention in order to get refills, napkins, our check.
