Went here with the wife and mom after they were featured on Fox 8 news and this place was excellent. Very small quaint building that looks like it was a home that was converted into a restaurant and it sits in a residential neighborhood. Small parking lot that only fits about 5 cars but most people that eat here order out. The restaurant itself is small as well and they only have two booths and a few tables but again most people order out here so if you choose to dine in you shouldn't have a problem finding a seat. They only have coke brand bottle drinks which I think is nice cause a soda machine doesn't taste as fresh to me. Everything is cooked fresh to order so you have to wait a bit but trust me this food is well worth the wait. The wife had the pork chops with fried okra and mac & cheese, mom had the hamburger steak with cole slaw & cabbage and I landed on the 2 piece dark chicken with fried okra and rice & gravy. All of the food here tasted great and met every expectation of what soul food should be. The restaurant was very clean and so were the bathrooms. The employee's here were very friendly and respectful. This is a family owned local business so put on your shoes and travel from wherever to eat here because this is...
