Born and raised here in the DMV. Celtic house is by far the best neighborhood bar I have been lucky enough to patronize and live close to. The staff makes you feel like family. The ownership and service is top notch. Regulars from all walks of life become good friends. The food is both well executed authentic Irish fare and classic bar foods. Truly a special place.

Great service, selection, and atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a pint.

There are three places I like to visit for lunch or dinner: Taqueria el Poblano for tacos and tequila, L.A. Bar & Grill for burgers if I don't want Guinness, and The Celtic House Irish Pub & Restaurant for when I want a burger or fish & chips and a Guinness. So friendly. So nice. Owner is hands-on. I always eat at the bar. Bartenders are always very generous, professional, and friendly. I just at there for lunch yesterday: fish, chips, and 3 Guinness pints. Pretty self-indulgent but the fried fish was crispy and came with pretty good fries, malt vinegar, two wedges of lemon, some tartar sauce, and a little bit of ketchup. Worth it.
