Discovering RVA Family, I'm finally back home, and you know I missed you. Now, let's get to it. Last night's dining experience took me on the cobblestones streets of Richmond's Shockoe Slip; to a hotel that has the historic look of the surrounding area, though shockingly built in 1988 by Alan M. Vorhees & Family. It received it's name from edifices such as a castle found in England and a Charles City, Virginia Plantation; The Berkeley Hotel. Inside this establishment, was Discovering RVA's second installment of the "Hotel Series." Boasting of American Fare with a southern twist, this spot was the 2015 winner of Open Table's Diners' Choice.
